Mbombela - Tintswalo Safari Lodge’s opulent Presidential Suite has received an upgrade, which was completed during June 2015, offering guests even more space and exclusivity than ever.
Where the kitchen and lounge once occupied the same open-plan space, the kitchen has now been removed entirely. As a result the lounge is now almost doubled in size, and offers a private relaxing and dining area.
A beautiful brand-new kitchen has now been built in an entirely new, separate room that has been built behind the lounge, with a door adjoining the two rooms. This change now means that while the chef is preparing meals, the guests can unwind in total solitude in the lounge or on the deck. With the muted sounds of cooking and plating in a separate room, the lounge is now quieter and more serene.
As far as decor goes, the suite maintains its colonial elegance, with some of the furniture having been refurbished and given a face-lift, and of course, the lounge has been rearranged and well-appointed according to its new spacious size.
Sleeping four adults, Tintswalo Safari Lodge’s Presidential suite is designed to accommodate a family, or seasoned travellers who are looking for an elite and exclusive safari experience.
Presidential guests can expect to enjoy the finest and most unique features, such as:
Two king suites with en-suite bathrooms. Both suites enjoy the same luxurious furnishings, bush views, clawfoot tubs and indoor-outdoor showers.
A large shared lounge, now double in size, leading onto an expansive deck that overlooks the African bush.
Exclusive facilities include the kitchen, plunge pool, outdoor boma, deck and private service staff. (dedicated chef and butler)
A private guide and a private vehicle for four guests, allowing for an exclusive safari and game-viewing experience and itinerary.
An extensive children’s program offering entertainment and education to families staying with children.
The Presidential Suite is connected to the main lodge by a raised walkway, for both safety and convenience.
