As the rumour mill continues to swirl, it has emerged that Kaizer Chiefs may be lining up the signature of Tanzania international midfielder Feisal Salum.
Currently on the books of Azam FC, the 27-year-old was believed to have been a target of Chiefs in the January transfer window already.
Salum is vastly experienced on the international stage with 45 caps for Tanzania.
Azam spokesperson Thabit Zacharia said the club would be open to an offer for the player.

Tanzanian midfield maestro Feisal Salum poised for potential Kaizer Chiefs transfer?
“We expect Feisal to deliver results because we are paying him a lot of money,” Zacharia told FARPost.
'However, if he decides to leave, that will be his choice. We are not stopping him from leaving.
“We have no plans to let Feisal go. But if a team makes an offer that meets our expectations, we will not stand in his way. However, as of now, we have not received any offers from any club.”
The news that Chiefs may be after the services of Salum comes as they already have their eye on another midfielder as this Betway Premiership heads towards its conclusion.
One of their targets could be Sphephelo Sithole, according to his agent Manuel Tomas.
In a report, Tomas confirms there had been talks between the two parties.
“In December, yes, we received some calls from the club (Chiefs),” Tomas told FarPost.
“We don’t know what will happen… it’s football. But we haven’t received an official offer from Chiefs for Sithole. It was just discussions with the club and the people from the club… no official offer has been made.”
The 26-year-old Bafana Bafana player is currently on the books of Gil Vicente in Portugal. Sithole sustained a broken leg in September last year while on national duty, but will be expected back in action soon.
