Bafana Bafana star Lyle Foster could be heading back to the English Premier League, with a move to newly-promoted Ipswich Town on the cards according to reports.
The 23-year-old Foster had difficulties off the field last year, as his struggles with his mental health were widely documented.
On the books of Burnley, Foster returned to the team after taking time off to work on his mental health. He was part of the Burnley side that were unable to avoid relegation, with coach Vincent Kompany subsequently leaving the club.
Now it seems Foster may be back in the Premier League sooner than expected. According to Sacha Tavolieri, a journalist in England, Foster is close to signing for Ipswich for a fee of £25 million, or a whopping R590 million.

Kompany hails Foster for speaking up
Upon Foster’s return to Burnley last season, Kompany hailed the young player for speaking about his struggles.
Speaking to Premier League Inside Matters, Kompany said: “I think Lyle did something very powerful by actually speaking up about it himself, and allowing us to speak about it.
“How he processed his situation was very, very mature for a young individual in the end. I think we’ve all learned through experiencing this with him you know.
“The difficulty with football is that so often it’s the problem and as well it’s the solution, so these players will be confronted with different states of mind because of the pressure of the job, because of the pressure of being a footballer and what it means.
“Sometimes it’s not even towards the fans, it could be family, it could be your country, it could be your background, it could be your social media.”
