Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana icon Lucas Radebe's son, Kutlwano Radebe, could be unveiled by Spanish La Liga club Sporting Gijon in the coming days.
Kutlwano Radebe's mother, Botlhale Modisane, posted on Instagram that the Grade 8 learner has had successful trials with the club and "has been bagged".
"Our baby was scouted by a Spanish team. He trialed a few days ago and now they have officially bagged him!! Watch out for Kutlwano Radebe coz just like his Dad, he's gonna make South Africa proud!!!" she posted on the popular social media platform.
However, the club and Imbondeiro Sports Agency, which posted about Kutlwano Radebe's trial at Sporting Gijon, have yet to confirm if the 14-year-old managed signed a deal.
Earlier this month, Kutlwano Radebe's school, Trinity House High School, posted on Instagram that the youngster would be off to "attend international trials in Spain".
“A huge congratulations to Kutlwano Radebe, a Grade 8 student at Trinityhouse Centurion High School, who has been scouted to attend international trials in Spain this January!
“Playing for the CFA Football U15 first team, Kutlwano is now taking his soccer career to the next level. We are so proud of this incredible achievement and can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
