In a remarkable rescue operation due to challenges posed by obesity, a team of paramedics in Ayutthaya, Thailand, went to extraordinary lengths to transport a 300kg woman to hospital.

The rescue mission began when emergency services were alerted to the home of the woman, who was experiencing severe breathing difficulties due to her chronic obesity.

Upon arrival, medical workers encountered a daunting situation.

In a recent video circulating on social media, the woman was seen lying face down on her custom-made bed, slurping sugary milk tea from a bowl. Time was of the essence, as her health was rapidly deteriorating. However, the logistics of moving her proved to be a significant challenge.

In an unconventional but necessary approach, reinforcements were summoned to demolish a section of the bedroom wall. The immediate goal was clear: to safely extricate her from her home and ensure she received the urgent medical attention she needed.

Several men took turns demolishing a section of the woman's bedroom wall to allow her to be carried out in her custom metal-framed bed.

Once the wall was removed, more than 20 people including medical members banded together to carefully lift her bed, which looked impressive heavy, and loaded her onto a recovery tow truck.

The woman was rapidly transported to Somdej Phra Sangkharat Hospital, where she could receive the necessary medical interventions to address her breathing difficulties.

According to reports, the 36-year-old woman has been bedridden for at least a year.

Speaking to Newsflare, the woman's father said she had been overweight since childhood and her weight had gradually increased last year, which forced her to stay in bed and which led her to balloon to 300kg.

'‘Nobody has been able to help my daughter, so she remained in bed constantly, which has led to bedsores. I was worried when she had breathing problems," he was quoted as saying.
