A Gqeberha man who was kidnapped on Tuesday morning outside his workplace has been freed.
Eastern Cape police confirmed on Wednesday morning that Ebrahim Moosa was found during the night in Kwazakele.
Police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg said the 74-year-old is currently receiving medical attention.
"No further information will be shared as this is an ongoing investigation."
Moosa was kidnapped outside his workplace in Cuyler Street, Kruisrivier at around 10 am.
Police said it is alleged that as Moosa arrived at work, a vehicle followed him into the premises and blocked him.
"Three suspects got out of the vehicle and forced the victim into a double cab LDV. The suspects drove off in an unknown direction."
Police said the motive for the kidnapping was not known.
