The Miss International South Africa 2024 titleholder will represent her country at the 62nd Miss International pageant taking place on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan.
“Only 10 days left until I embark on an incredible journey to Japan for Miss International! The excitement is beyond real, and I can’t wait to represent our beautiful Rainbow Nation, South Africa on the global stage,” said Schreuder.
“This journey has been a dream come true, and I am so grateful for all the love and support I’ve received so far.”
This year, over 70 delegates from all over the world will participate in Miss International. The theme is Sustainability in Pageantry and will focus on looking into the impact pageants have on the contestants’ mental health.
“Sustainability in Pageantry is not just limited to the financial aspect, but also the long-term effects on the mental health of all the participants.
“Thus, Miss International vows to provide a safe and secure platform where all delegates can enjoy wholesome activities that may enhance their future career prospects without being enslaved by social media.
“ICA [ International Cultural Association] will make sure that each delegate will get back home with a renewed spirit and better outlook in life regardless of the results,” reads a statement from Miss International.
In other news, Miss South Africa 2024 Mia Le Roux will also represent South Africa at the 73rd Miss Universe taking place in Mexico City on November 17.
