Exhausted Britons are too stressed-out to have sex –despite many thinking about it at least ten times a day.
That’s according to a survey, which found that half of us find that stress and anxiety gets in the way of our sex lives.
For 25 to 34-year-olds, an overwhelming two-thirds said their sex lives were impacted by stress.
This is despite one third of us thinking about sex at least once a day, rising to at least ten times a day for one in five.
Money issues can also reduce appetite for sex, with a fifth of people admitting that it impacted their libido – and an astonishing 4 per cent even blamed Brexit for a lack of action in the bedroom.
The survey of 2,000 people was commissioned by Vitano Rhodiola, a herbal supplement which is claimed to have libido-boosting properties.
