Enjoy some family-friendly fun at The Rand Show in Joburg this long weekend.

The gathering, which is one of the city’s longest-standing traditions, is held annually over the Easter period.

It features a wide-range of shopping experiences, the renowned SANDF display, live entertainment and plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

This includes the Dino Expo, the Adrenaline Zone, 4x4 activations, and helicopter flips.

Where: Expo Centre at Nasrec.

When: Thursday, April 17, to Monday, April 21, from 9am to 7pm daily.

Renowned Irish musician Darren Kiely will perform in Johannesburg this weekend.

Darren Kiely brings his “The Never Been Here Before Tour” to Jozi

Irish singing sensation Darren Kiely is kicking off his international tour in the City of Gold on Thursday before heading to Cape Town as well as at the Splashy Fen Festival in KwaZulu-Natal.

These shows will mark the “Ocean” hitmaker’s first Mzansi visit.

Kiely’s folk-infused pop sound has captured the hearts of fans worldwide.

His poignant lyrics and soaring vocals have earned him accolades on national stages.

When: Thursday, April 17, from 8.30pm to 11pm.

“Made in Jozi”

Some of the nation’s biggest artists are set to perform at the “Made in Jozi” festival on Friday.

They include Kelvin Momo, DJ Kent, DWSN, Teddy Tumi and many more.

This daytime gathering seeks to bring together some of the best of South African music, food and culture in one unforgettable setting.
