Tallulah Willis, daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis has dismissed claims that her mother snubbed Kylie Jenner during the 2025 Golden Globes.
The drama unfolded on social media after a video appeared to show Moore, who won Best Actor for her role in The Substance, interacting with Elle Fanning at the table shared by Jenner and her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet.
Moore had reportedly spent New Year’s Eve with Fanning, making the congratulatory exchange an “organic” moment, according to Tallulah.
“We spent New Year with Elle, so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do,” Tallulah wrote in an Instagram Story on Monday.
“This angel was in total shock and delight and moving throughout a warm room of well-wishers.”
She added: “There was not snub of any sort. Had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her, she would have fully given her the time and space. Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments!”
In the viral video shared by Golden Globes on TikTok, Moore can be seen briefly turning towards Jenner, seemingly mouthing “thank you” after Jenner congratulated her.
However, social media erupted, with some accusing Moore of ignoring the Kardashians star while focusing solely on Fanning.
Fanning can be seen holding Moore which makes it difficult to tell if she was ignoring her.

The incident sparked debate on X, with users dissecting the footage. Many defended Moore, arguing that the moment was being over-analysed.
@heabooktubes commented: "Everyone acting like Kylie deserves this treatment just for existing. Meanwhile this is exactly how the elites would treat YOU if you had the mis/fortune of sitting at their table."

Another user, @sayandskotann, pointed out: “Demi wins her first award & people decide to scrutinise her over nothing? Misogyny. She paused to briefly say hello & she DID acknowledge her, she obviously already knows Dakota. Kylie is a guest & not an actor. It's a night for networking & congratulating your co-workers."

@cuntyrhae added: "People trying to villanize (sic) Demi Moore and trying to tarnish her win last night by running to the tabloids with the 'she ignored Kylie' narrative. you can see a video where she clearly turns her head to her for a brief moment and clearly says thank you."

While addressing the controversy, Tallulah also took time to celebrate her mother’s success, calling her the “greatest teacher”. On her Instagram Story, she wrote: “The genuine shock makes me tear up. You are so worthy. The world is seeing you as your family does, and I am beaming with pride.”
Demi’s heartfelt speech at the Golden Globes also received widespread praise, with fans applauding her for reflecting on her journey and the support from her family.
