Grammy Award-winning artist Tems delivered a performance that left attendees fulfilled at the start of her “Born In The Wild” concert tour kickstart in Johannesburg.
The Nigerian superstar has previously performed in South Africa, but this time, it was the Tems' show, a stand-alone performance. The sensual vocalist exceeded fans' expectations, even though she was battling a cough.
A newly opened venue, The Dome, in Nasrec played host to Tems South Africa's performance. The venue, which looks like a big long marquee, while welcome, certainly requires a person to have a front-row standing ticket, to get a good look at the performance or settle for the high-definition screens.
Shining star Elaine opened the concert in a gold outfit that was made for her body and had her skin glowing. Pity her performance was only 30 minutes long.

Tems came prepared to thrill her South African fans; her melanin skin was buttered with shimmer in bell bottoms and a boob-tube top black ensemble that showed off her beautiful curves.
She made sure to wind her waists and dance to the music along with her fans, who she even interacted with by coming down and directly interacting with a few lucky audience members, asking them to sing along with her.
Tems, previously lived in Johannesburg for four years studying economics at Monash South Africa in Johannesburg, while also pursuing music. She reflected at the concert on how South African sounds influenced her and taught her a lot.
The Grammy Award winner for Best African Music Performance, real name, Temilade Openiyi, sang music from her debut album “Born In The Wild” which features 18 tracks. She sang favourites like “Burning”, “Damages”, and “Me and U” and closed her performance with “Love Me Jeje”.
Overwhelmed by all the love in Mzansi, the following day after her performance, Tems held a meet and great in Johannesburg, before jetting off to her next location.
