Nearly two years after their engagement, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez have reportedly sent out invitations for their highly anticipated wedding.
Sánchez sparked speculation on Sunday by sharing a cryptic Instagram post just as news of the wedding invitations emerged.
The former news anchor and helicopter pilot posted a pencil sketch of a nude woman sitting on the wing of a plane, her hair swept back by the wind. She simply captioned it: "Mood."
Journalist Dylan Byers first reported the wedding update on X, igniting excitement around the long-awaited nuptials of the billionaire couple.
Bezos, the world’s second-richest man, and Sánchez became engaged in May 2023, four years after the Amazon founder ended his 25-year marriage to MacKenzie Scott. Sánchez also finalised her divorce from Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell that same year.
The couple is set to exchange vows in June aboard "Koru", Bezos’ superyacht, off the coast of Italy. The Amazon tycoon proposed to Sánchez in May 2023 after five years together.
Speculation about their engagement first surfaced in August 2023 when Sánchez was seen wearing a striking diamond ring.
Around the same time, the couple were spotted attending the Cannes Film Festival and hosting an extravagant engagement party on their yacht in Positano, Italy.
Their guest list included high-profile names such as Bill Gates, Ari Emanuel, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Queen Rania of Jordan, and Kris Jenner.
Initially, there were rumours that the wedding would take place in Colorado in December 2023, but The Washington Post—owned by Bezos—dismissed those claims as false.
