WHEN it comes to electro and house music DJ’s, the pinnacle of success is playing in a famous club on Ibiza. And eight of 10 DJ’s on the Ibiza World Tour line-up coming to SA in December have had that privilege. See them at Sandringham on December 29 from 2pm to 2am.
Tearing up the dance floor for 12 hours straight will be Klingande (France), Michael Calfan (France), Da Cat (France), Peyton (USA), Pascal & Pearce (SA), Dennis Kruissen (Netherlands), Nigel Stately (Hungary), Kool & Kabul (Germany) and C Delgado ( Belgium).
These are the DJ’s that travel the world, each creating their own style and signature sound. Duo Klingande use decks and sax to create their house-meets-sax sound. They’ve hit #1 at Hype Machine twice and received 60 million combined views across YouTube and 6 million plays on Soundcloud.
Calfan achieved success for his signature sound, having held the #1 spot on the Beatport Top 100 chart for three weeks for Resurrection. He was commissioned to remix hits, Turn Me On a nd She Wolf for David Guetta
Peyton first official mix topped dance charts and went on to become a house classic. Thereafter he had a string of follow-up anthems fuelling his reputation as one of house’s brightest new writers and vocalists.
Da Cat is a messenger for house and techno. His style brings a unique vibration to the floor. He likes to be different because, he says ‘this is underground’. Pascal & Pearce have one goal: to rock as many dance-floors as possible. Their typical set is energetic and inspiring. When Stately started his own Deep Café creation this opened his door to the world.
