ANDREW Worsdale’s acclaimed Durban Poison, has a limited release at The Labia from today. The movie, which stars Brandon Auret ( District 9, Elysium), won best South African feature film at the 37th Durban International Film Festival last year. It also won a Special Jury Prize for best music at the 3rd Luxor African Film Festival this year.

It is set amid the trigger-happy and disenfranchised white underclass. Dubbed “a killer romance”, it is inspired by a true story. A noir road movie, it follows the probe into four murders while charting the doomed romance of outlaw lovers.
