TAKE a trip down memory lane and join in a night of neon outfits, scrunchies, denim jackets and big earrings and party like its 1985 at 80’s Rewind at Grandwest on February 5.
In addition to gigs at Carnival City, Johannesburg (January 31) and Kings Park Stadium, Durban (February7), Kia Motors is bringing a selection of popular 80’s superstars to the city for a ‘one-night only’ music fest.
Fans of 80’s sounds can look forward to a massive line-up, including Billy Ocean, Heather Small (from M People), Nik Kershaw, Go West, Wang Chung, Blancmange, and Hazell Dean.
The artists will perform some of their greatest hits including African Queen, King of Wishful Thinking, Everybody Have Fun Tonight,plus Hazell Dean’s local # one hit They Say it’s Gonna Rain.
This pool of artists has produced massive chart toppers, sold millions of albums achieving gold and platinum status.
