Thousands of music lovers jived to the beat of local and international artists at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival at the weekend.

The local line-up included Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse at the Kippies stage, while the big international act on Friday evening was 1980s UK hitmaker Basia.
